All work carried out by SG Plumbing & Maintenance Pty Ltd shall be subject to our Terms and Conditions.
Definitions
Plumber – means SG Plumbing & Maintenance Pty Ltd
Client – Shall mean the client, any person acting on behalf of and with the authority of the client, or any person purchasing services or products from SG Plumbing & Maintenance Pty Ltd
Scope of Work:
Plumbers will perform services as agreed upon with the customer/client. Any additional work required will be communicated and agreed upon before commencement.
Pricing on works are based upon the assumption that all existing installation complies with law regulation and relevant Australian Standards. Any works required to bring existing installations to compliance, law or current Australian Standards shall constitute a variation
Cancellations and Rescheduling Policy:
You may cancel or reschedule a booking with at least 24 hours’ notice.
Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may incur a cancellation fee.
SG Plumbing & Maintenance Pty Ltd reserves the right to reschedule work due to unforeseen circumstances such as weather conditions, emergencies, or staff illness.
Materials
Any materials provided by SG Plumbing & Maintenance Pty Ltd will remain the property of the company until full payment has been received. The plumber reserves the right to reclaim the goods from the client’s possession, custody or control even if they have been delivered to client or move from delivery address.
Dispute Resolution
Any disputes or concerns regarding services provided by SG Plumbing & Maintenance Pty Ltd should be addressed promptly to reach an amicable resolution in writing adequately identifying and providing details of the dispute.
Each party shall bear its own cost of presenting its position to the arbitrator(s) unless the arbitrator(s) make another determination in respect of the cost.
Safety
Our plumbers strictly follow established safety protocols throughout all service operations. Customers are required to maintain a safe working environment and provide the necessary access to plumbing systems to facilitate efficient service delivery.
Goods and Service Tax (GST)
All goods and service are subject to Goods and Service Tax (GST).
Liability
SG Plumbing and Maintenance Pty Ltd shall not be held responsible for any damages arising from the customer's misuse or negligence after services have been completed. Additionally, we disclaim liability for any pre-existing conditions or damages.
Access
Customers are responsible for clear and timely access to their property and plumbing systems at the agreed service times.
If access is not provided as scheduled, services may need to be rescheduled and associated fees may apply.
Payment
Payment is required in full upon completion of services, unless alternate arrangements have been specified in writing. Accepted payment methods include cash, credit or debit cards, and electronic transactions. Invoices that are not settled within the designated timeframe are subject to late fees prescribed by the Penalty Interest Rates Act 1983
·A credit card fee applies to all credit card payments.
Amendments
SG Plumbing & Maintenance Pty Ltd reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. The most recent version will always be available on our website or by request.
Filming, Photography & Media Use
By engaging SG Plumbing and Maintenance Pty Ltd to perform work on your property, you acknowledge and agree that our team may take photographs, videos, or recordings of the work performed, including work-in-progress and completed results. These recordings are captured strictly for operational, training, documentation, and promotional purposes.
All photographs, videos, and recordings taken on-site remain the exclusive intellectual property of SG Plumbing and Maintenance Pty Ltd. We reserve the right to use this content—including for marketing, advertising, training, social media, and promotional material—without requiring further permission, unless you notify us in writing before work begins that you do not consent.
Any media produced by SG Plumbing and Maintenance Pty Ltd may not be copied, shared, published, or used by clients or third parties for any public, promotional, or commercial purposes without our prior written consent.
